Centennial Drop Cajuns with Late Score

The Fort Knox Centennial got a magnificent performance from pitcher Clark Ritchie, who muffled the Crowley offense en route to a tight 3-1 Centennial win at Ballpark of Baxter. The win was credited to David Kelly in relief. His record improves to 3-0. Jayden Hoddinot took the loss. Earning his 3rd save for Fort Knox was Harvey O'Keefe.
Bubba Baker took Jayden Hoddinot deep in the bottom of the eighth. His 2-run home run put the Centennial on top, 3-1. In all, Baker had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 3.
"Nice to put this one in the win column," said Baker.
The Centennial saw their win-loss record go to 25-28. At the same time, the Cajuns fell to 27-26.
