Centennial Need Extras to Top Tigers

The Fort Knox Centennial racked up a win at Dodge Field, bumping off the Twinsburg Tigers, 11-4. Miguel López, who started for Fort Knox, pitched effectively for his team. Fort Knox reliever David Kelly picked up the win, bumping his record to 1-0. Ming-hoa Ngui was collared with the loss. With the win, Fort Knox has a record of 22-27. Twinsburg falls to 18-31.
It could have been a different outcome for Fort Knox, had it not been for Lloyd Griffin, the 19-year old second baseman . Griffin contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the tenth inning to put Fort Knox up, 5-4.
"It was terrific getting this win," Griffin said. "We put in a lot of work to do it."
