The Fort Knox Centennial got a strong performance from pitcher Clark Ritchie, who stymied the Ladue offense en route to a 4-2 win at Ballpark of Baxter. Ritchie got the win, improving to 3-2. He allowed 6 hits and walked 1 over 5.1 innings. Ritchie allowed 2 earned runs. At 21-27, the Centennial find themselves in 7th place in the Premier R.
Lloyd Griffin made an early impact for Fort Knox when he stroked his 5th double of the season. The 2-run double, which came with two out in the bottom of the first, put the Centennial on top, 4-0.
