O'Donnell, Ducks Get 3-2 Win
|
The Long Island Ducks did just enough to secure a 3-2 victory over the Twinsburg Tigers at Ducks Park. Nobody did more than pitcher Bailey O'Donnell, who captured player of the game honors. The save went to Harvey Caldwell, his 18th this season. Long Island has an impressive 31-15 record.
O'Donnell's performance can only be described as masterful. He notched 13 strikeouts in 8 innings while allowing 4 hits. O'Donnell, who is tied for 5th in the PR in holds with 3, goes to 2-1 on the year with 50 strikeouts.
"We put together a nice win," O'Donnell said.
