Rhinos Come Back Late to Top Centennial
Redwood center fielder Roy MacDonald was instrumental in his team's 6-5 win over the Fort Knox Centennial. MacDonald, who is tied for 2nd in the PR in stolen bases with 11, went 2-2 with 2 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Rhinos. Redwood reliever Ramon Roodenburg picked up the win, upping his record to 2-2. Tommy Casey absorbed the loss. Getting the save was Tommy Moore, his 5th.

Ralph Ludwig had the most critical at-bat for Redwood. With one in the top of the ninth inning, Ludwig hit a 2-0 curveball from Tommy Casey for a run-scoring double. It put Redwood in front, 6-5.

"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Ludwig told the Redwood Bulletin.

The Rhinos raised their record to 24-21.
