Redwood pitcher Rubén Sánchez gave the Hounds all they could handle, but in the end, Hicksville left The Zoo with a 2-0 win. Sánchez allowed no earned runs on 5 hits over 7.1 innings. Their 11-17 record puts the Hounds 8th in the Premier R.

Hicksville used the timely hitting of Ramiro Rivera to seize the win. The catcher stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the 11th inning to put the Hounds on top, 1-0. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
