Dodge Field was the site of a tense game between the Twinsburg Tigers and Tulsa Otters.
The Tulsa Otters went home winners at Dodge Field, thanks in large part to starter Donnie Williams. Williams silenced the Twinsburg Tigers, enabling Tulsa to grab the 3-1 win. Williams went 7 innings to notch the win. He scattered 10 hits, walked 1, and struck out 5. His record improves to 3-1. Picking up the save was Nathan May, his 2nd.
Tulsa took a 2-1 lead on Rod Clark's 15th hit of the season. The run-scoring single, which Clark hit in the top of the eighth, left Twinsburg pitcher Emery William visibly frustrated.
"We'll grab a cold one tonight and go after another win tomorrow," Clark said.
Tulsa, now 8-12, holds 8th place in the Premier R.
