Rose Helps Rams Run Win Streak to 3
|
Ladue shortstop Drew Rose was instrumental in his team's 11-5 win over the Twinsburg Tigers. Rose, who is tied for 3rd in the PR in extra base hits with 8, went 3-5 with 3 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Rams. The winner was Nathan Eldridge, who threw 103 pitches over 5.2 innings. The left-hander was charged with 5 runs on 9 hits. Ladue is now 7-5.
Rose had a key at-bat for Ladue early in the game. With runners on 1st and 3rd, he hit a 3-run home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season and gave Ladue an early 3-0 lead.
"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said Ladue manager Dave Parrish.
