Crawdads Squelch Vibes Offense in Shutout Win
|
Left-hander Ángel Díaz mesmerized the Rocky Mountain Vibes while leading the Cut Off Crawdads to a 3-0 victory. Díaz got the win, improving to 2-3. He allowed 3 hits and walked 2 over 6 innings. Díaz allowed no earned runs. Lewis Goodman finished the game for Cut Off and earned his 9th save.
Cut Off used the timely hitting of Kennet Udinga to seize the win. The first baseman stroked a 2-run single in the top of the sixth inning to put the Crawdads on top, 3-0. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Udinga said after the game.
At 43-37, the Crawdads are currently 6th in the Premier A.
