Well, that's how to end a game in style.

The Comets had to overcome a good performance from Caldwell pitcher Martín Galindo to claim a 3-2 win at Fuller Park. Galindo went 7.1 innings and allowed no earned runs. Kent's record now stands at 28-50, placing them 8th in the Premier A.

The game was decided with one out in the bottom of the ninth. With Kent trailing 2-1, Jesús Muñíz hit a fastball from Ari Schaller to center for a 2-run single. Just like that, the Comets had a walk-off win.

"We made a couple of mistakes," said Caldwell skipper Alexander Allen, "and it cost us."
