López Excels in South Beach Win
The South Beach Blaze beat the Cut Off Crawdads, 9-3, at The Ballpark on the Beach. The Blaze got a fine performance from left fielder Ángel López, who captured player of the game honors. He was 3 for 4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 times and driving in 5. South Beach reliever Stuart Chase picked up the win, bumping his record to 2-4. Alfonso Enríquez was collared with the loss. At 22-17, the Blaze are currently 5th in the Premier A.

López had a key at-bat for South Beach early in the game. With runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit a 3-run home run. It was his 1st home run of the season and gave South Beach an early 3-0 lead.

"I'm just happy to help the team win," López told the South Beach Herald.
