Crawdads Win Thriller, 3-2
|
The Cut Off Crawdads eked out a 3-2 win versus the Kent Comets at Crawdads Field. Nobody did more than pitcher Patrick Robison, who captured player of the game honors. Kent is still trying to get off the schneid, having lost 7 in a row.
The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the tenth inning, when Cut Off center fielder Rich Dalzell, facing António del Pozo, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the Crawdads the 3-2 win.
"Exciting game to play in," said Robison. "Getting the win makes it even better."
