7-3 Win by Seahawks Continues Hot Start
|
Myrtle Beach beat Kent on the strength of starter Alan Haas's fine effort. The right-hander led his team to a 7-3 win. In 5 innings, Haas surrendered 4 hits, while striking out 6 and walking 2. He allowed 1 run. The Seahawks have now won 7 straight.
Myrtle Beach used the clutch hitting of Anton Zdravomyslov to capture the win. The first baseman drilled a grand slam home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Seahawks ahead, 6-1. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a big one.
