The Seahawks grabbed a win, 4-2, at Fuller Park, overcoming a fine effort from Kent pitcher Fredrick Shive. Shive went 8.1 innings and allowed 3 earned runs. Lance Simmons picked up the save for Myrtle Beach, his 3rd of the year. Myrtle Beach has an impressive 17-5 record.

It could have been a different outcome for Myrtle Beach, had it not been for Nicholas Colling, the 22-year old first baseman . Colling contributed a 2-run home run in the top of the third inning to put Myrtle Beach up, 2-0.
