Expos Lose to Generals in Walk Off
Niagara Falls got a terrific game from first baseman Caleb Kennedy. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Washington, 8-7. Kennedy was the player of the game despite being on the losing side. He was 3 for 5 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 times and driving in 4. The Expos, at 25-71, have lost 5 in a row.

Late in the game, center fielder Xavier Hutchesson had a big at-bat for Washington. In the bottom of the tenth, he hit a run-scoring single off Armando Mata. The play gave the Generals a 8-7 lead.

Hutchesson described the clubhouse as "kind of rowdy" after the game.
