Martin 'Lights Out' in Levittown Win
The Levittown Blue Dragons picked up a win at Washington Park, knocking off the Washington Generals, 3-1. Starting pitcher Edward Martin, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason why. Luiz Palmeiro converted his 9th save in 9 tries. The Blue Dragons bumped their record to 58-34 with this latest triumph.

Washington had little success against Martin and his splitter. Martin tossed 99 pitches over 7.1 innings for the Blue Dragons.

Martin offered a curt "no comment" when asked to discuss the win after the game.
