Expos Score Late, Upend Blue Dragons, 3-1

Fans who gathered at The Cave at Levittown saw a good contest between the Niagara Falls Expos and Levittown Blue Dragons.
The Levittown Blue Dragons got a superb performance from pitcher Edward Martin. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Niagara Falls. The Expos won the game, 3-1. In spite of the loss, Martin was named the player of the game. He threw 7 innings of 6-hit ball. Even with the win, the Expos have a dismal 22-60 record.
Niagara Falls relied on the bat of Danny Adams to get the win. The third baseman ripped a run-scoring double in the top of the eighth inning to put the Expos ahead, 2-1. For the game, Adams had 1 double and 1 home run in 4 at-bats.
"Win or lose, we always try to grind it out and stay even-keeled," Adams said in reaction to the win.
