It was a fun time at Hawks Field, where the Grim Reapers and Laredo Hawks tangled.

Laredo Hawks starter Ronald Fritz was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Grim Reapers, 4-3. Eric Hurt, credited with the win, is now 5-3. He allowed 1 run on 2 hits in 2 innings.

Victor Jensen was the walk-off hero for Laredo. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Hawks right fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring double to send the teams home.

"We squandered some opportunities," said Grim manager Terrence Eler.

The Hawks have an impressive 50-31 record.
