Selemani, Expos Get 3-0 Win
|
Yaw Selemani pitched a gem in leading Niagara Falls to a 3-0 victory over the Tennessee Smokies. Will Parker was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 11 of 14 save opportunities. Even with the win, the Expos have a dismal 20-59 record.
The Expos liked what they saw from Selemani. The 20-year old pitcher had a commanding presence on the mound, limiting the Smokies to no earned runs on 3 hits over 8.1 innings, and striking out 4.
"I just tried to attack the bottom of the zone," Selemani said.
