The Niagara Falls Expos eked out a 6-5 win versus the Grim Reapers at The Coffin. Nobody did more than second baseman António Cruz, who captured player of the game honors. Niagara Falls reliever Sergio Castro was the winner. His record is now 1-4. Yoichi Amano took the loss. The win puts the Expos at 19-57, while the Reapers drop to 43-33.

Niagara Falls used the clutch hitting of Allen Harding to capture the win. The left fielder drilled a solo home run in the top of the 13th inning to put the Expos ahead, 6-5. It was his only hit in 2 at-bats, but it was a big one.

In postgame comments, Harding said he was glad to contribute to an exciting win.
