Kennedy Delivers Clutch At-Bat for Niagara Falls in Walk-Off Win
Niagara Falls overcame a superlative game from Miguel Pérez to beat Washington, 2-1. The Washington pitcher took player of the game honors in a losing cause. He threw 8 innings of shutout ball. Niagara Falls reliever Will Parker was credited with the win, to go to 1-2. Del Jones took the loss for Washington. Niagara Falls's record now stands at 18-56, placing them last in the Silver A.

The game was at a stalemate until first baseman Caleb Kennedy came to bat in the bottom of the tenth. Facing Washington pitcher Del Jones, he hit a full count cutter for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Niagara Falls on top, 2-1.

"We put it together today and came out with the win," Kennedy said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
