Bulls Score Late to Upend Expos, 3-2
|
Belleville Bulls starter Sam Martínez turned in an exceptional performance against the Niagara Falls Expos at Belleville Field, resulting in a Belleville win, 3-2. Niagara Falls's current losing streak has reached 13 games.
Russ King was the walk-off hero for Belleville. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Bulls third baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"Everyone's trying too hard," said losing manager Alan Manor. "If we learn to relax, we'll be fine."
