Victory Pushes Blue Dragons Record to 48-21
|
With left fielder Aaron Attyte leading the charge, the Levittown Blue Dragons defeated the Niagara Falls Expos, 6-3, at Waterfall Park. Attyte, who is tied for 3rd in the SA with a .876 OPS, was 3-4 with 3 singles and a walk. He scored 3 times. Luiz Palmeiro got the save, the 3rd for him this season. The first-place Blue Dragons have won 4 in a row.
In the top of the first, Rafael Soto ambushed a 1-1 knuckle curve from Kyle Greene and hit a 2-run home run. It gave Levittown a quick 2-0 lead.
"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Soto told the Levittown Bulletin.
