Victory Pushes Hawks Record to 39-28
Laredo starter Gavriil Wolfson put a stranglehold on the Washington offense. The right-hander had complete command of his changeup in leading the Hawks to a 4-1 win. Laredo reliever De'Coldest Crawford picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Bill Slaughter absorbed the loss. The Hawks raised their record to 39-28.

Laredo grabbed control in the bottom of the sixth. With one out and a runner on 1st, Scott Beavis delivered a 2-run home run, to make it 3-1 in favor of the Hawks.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Beavis. "And not try to do too much."
