Pitcher Ron Blackshaw was sensational for the Washington Generals in his team's 5-1 triumph over the Grim Reapers. Blackshaw received player of the game honors, while picking up the win. Washington is now 26-39. Grim is 34-31.

Asko Huhtamo made an early impact for Washington when he stroked his 13th double of the season. The 2-run double, which came with two out in the bottom of the second, put the Generals on top, 4-0.

"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Huhtamo.
