The Levittown Blue Dragons racked up a win at Carrier Field, bumping off the Delaware 1787 BC, 5-3. Edward Martin, who started for Levittown, pitched effectively for his team. Martin got the win, improving to 9-2. He allowed 6 hits and walked 1 over 6 innings. Martin allowed 1 earned run. Levittown is now 39-18, 5½ games up in the Silver A.
Levittown used the timely hitting of Josh Hall to seize the win. The first baseman stroked a 2-run single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Blue Dragons on top, 3-1. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"Being able to contribute to a win is always a great feeling," Hall told the Levittown Bulletin.
