Late Rally by Godfathers Secures Win
In a tight contest at Pontiac Copperdome, the Pontiac Godfathers edged the Grim Reapers by the score of 5-4. Pontiac designated hitter Nathan Bram, who blasted 1 home run, was named the player of the game. Even with the win, the Godfathers have a dismal 19-36 record.

Bram had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the eighth. On a full count fastball from Bill Miller, he banged a 3-run home run to left-center, giving the Godfathers a 5-4 lead. It was the 6th home run of the year for Bram.

"We put it together today and came out with the win," Bram said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
