The Niagara Falls Expos got a sterling performance from pitcher Kyle Greene, but the Torch still prevailed, 4-3. Greene was named the player of the game in a losing cause. He threw 7 innings of 6-hit ball. Niagara Falls now has a 8-game losing streak.

The Torch were down to their last out in the bottom of the ninth when second baseman Paul Sykes turned a 1-2 slider from Sergio Castro into a bases-clearing double. The walk-off double sent a roar through the crowd and gave Mancelona a thrilling 4-3 win.

"This place went bonkers at the end," Sykes said.
