Stevenson, Belleville Prevail in Pitchers' Duel
|
The Belleville Bulls and Niagara Falls Expos put on a pitchers' duel at Belleville Field.
In a well-pitched game between the Belleville Bulls and the Niagara Falls Expos, pitcher Arthur Stevenson was fantastic. The Belleville left-hander was named the player of the game in Belleville's 2-0 win. The Bulls have an impressive 23-9 record.
Stevenson made it look effortless. He scattered 1 hit over 6 innings, while racking up 9 strikeouts. The Belleville left-hander encountered little resistance from the Niagara Falls hitters. His season record is now 5-1.
