Iolana Helps Hawks Run Win Streak to 3
The Laredo Hawks topped the Levittown Blue Dragons, 7-0, with center fielder Kalino Iolana playing a big role. Iolana was 3 for 4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 4 for the Hawks in the win. Jack Elvidge was credited with the save for Laredo, his 2nd of the season. Laredo is now riding a 3-game win streak.

Iolana came through with some timely hitting for Laredo. With the score 3-0 in the bottom of the seventh and two down, Iolana hit a 0-1 fastball for a grand slam home run. His 3rd home run of the season made it 7-0, Laredo.

"Winning the game is always the first objective," Iolana said.
