Blue Dragons Jolt Torch with Late Rally

The Levittown Blue Dragons got a stellar performance from pitcher Francisco Díaz, who handcuffed the Mancelona offense en route to a 3-2 win at The Cave at Levittown. The win was credited to Shawn Adams in relief. His record improves to 1-0. John Savage took the loss. With the win, the Blue Dragons improved to 19-10.
Had Josh Hall not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 2nd, Hall hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 3-2, in favor of the Blue Dragons.
Díaz told the Levittown Bulletin: "I was born for the big stage."
