Victory Over Reapers Takes Belleville to 22-6
|
Belleville Bulls starter Arthur Stevenson was definitely locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Grim Reapers, 8-1. In 7.2 innings, Stevenson surrendered 3 hits, while striking out 8 and walking 3. He allowed 1 run. The winning streak has now reached 4 games for Belleville.
It could have been a different outcome for Belleville, had it not been for Arthur Hall, the 21-year old second baseman . Hall contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the sixth inning to put Belleville up, 4-1.
"We came out aggressive," said Bulls manager Lou Cook. "We came out swinging the bats."
