Caleb Kennedy made an impact in the 6-4 Niagara Falls win over Washington. Kennedy went 2-3 with 2 singles and a walk. Niagara Falls reliever Theo Von Heezik was credited with the win, to go to 1-1. Pie-qi Gao took the loss for Washington. Niagara Falls is still hoping to get on a roll. The win is just their 5th in 18 games.

Niagara Falls won the game in the bottom of the ninth inning. With one out and Del Jones on the mound for Washington, designated hitter Allen Harding hit a dramatic 2-run home run, bringing Expos fans to their feet.

"We'll pop the top on a cold one and get back to work tomorrow," Kennedy said.
