Godfathers Win, Hope to Turn Around Slow Start
The Pontiac Godfathers picked up a win at Pontiac Copperdome, knocking off the Niagara Falls Expos, 8-4. Starting pitcher Dave Parkinson was an essential part of his team's success. The Godfathers have stumbled out of the gate, getting only their 4th win in 13 games.

Brad Dyer, the Pontiac third baseman, contributed a 2-run double in the bottom of the second inning to make the score 5-1, Godfathers. For the game, Dyer went 2 for 3 with a double and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.

"Dave was throwing strikes, locating well," said Pontiac manager Júlio Villegas.
