Expos Topple Bulls with Late Rally
|
Belleville got a terrific performance from pitcher Arthur Stevenson, but it wasn't enough to beat the Niagara Falls Expos. Niagara Falls won the Waterfall Park contest, 5-3. Stevenson was the player of the game despite being on the losing side. He threw 6 innings of 3-hit ball. Will Parker recorded his 3rd save for Niagara Falls. The Expos, with just their 3rd win so far in 2042, have yet to catch fire.
Allen Harding helped out the Niagara Falls cause in the bottom of the seventh inning with a run-scoring double. For the game, the designated hitter was 2-4 with a double.
"I'm just happy to help the team win," Harding told the Niagara Falls News.
