The Belleville Bulls turned back the Washington Generals, 5-4, at Belleville Field. Maikel Nelis was named player of the game for his fine performance. He went 2-4 with a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Mark Wells was the winning pitcher. Over 6.1 innings, he allowed 4 runs on 7 hits, with 1 walk and 7 strikeouts. Belleville, now 6-1, is setting the league on fire so far.
