|
Behind a solid performance from second baseman Datu Lesaca, the Charleston Battery defeated the Northern Virginia Rainbow Mermaids, 8-3. Lesaca was 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Battery. Melvin Tiburcio, who went 6 innings, was the winning pitcher.
