Felipe López never let the Storm get in a groove. The left-hander used his bread and butter, his fastball, to pitch the Yellows to a 3-1 win. The Yellows have an impressive 63-23 record.

Yucca Valley used the clutch hitting of Tony San Pedro to capture the win. The catcher drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Yellows ahead, 2-1. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a big one.

"We'll savor this win," San Pedro told the Yucca Valley Citizen, "then get ready for the next game."
