The Kingston Mangos beat the Walla Walla Walleye, 5-3, at Mango Yard. The Mangos got a fine performance from first baseman Rodger Parsons, who captured player of the game honors. He went 2 for 4 with 2 doubles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. Jorge Bigro picked up the win, improving his season record to 6-3. He struck out 7 in 5.1 innings. Keith Stinson got the save, the 8th for him this season.

Parsons had a key at-bat for Kingston early in the game. With runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit a run-scoring double. It was his 18th double of the season and gave Kingston an early 1-0 lead.
