Thunder Hawks Get Past Crescent City for 3-2 Win
The Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks topped the Crescent City Krewe, 3-2, with first baseman Remco Mastenbroek playing a big role. Mastenbroek went 1-3 with a walk, while adding 2 RBI for the Thunder Hawks in the win. Sean Kennedy picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 4-1. Mauro Sandín was tagged with the loss. Masaki Ito earned the save for Ft. Polk South, his 1st of the year.

The game was at a stalemate until right fielder Jorge Agramunt came to bat in the bottom of the eighth. Facing Crescent City pitcher Mauro Sandín, he hit a 1-1 slider for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Ft. Polk South on top, 3-2.

"If you ever get this game figured out," said Crescent City manager Michael Garrett, "let me know."
