White Walkers Come Back Late to Top Patriots
|
Buffalo played host to Boston at the friendly confines of Beyond the Wall.
The Buffalo White Walkers faced a tough opponent in Boston pitcher Nicky Bogdan, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Beyond the Wall by a final score of 6-4. Bogdan went 7 innings and allowed 1 earned run. Woodward Haberdash, credited with the save, is now 5 for 8 in save opportunities.
Buffalo took a 6-4 lead on Colin O'Connell's 44th hit of the season. The 2-run single, which O'Connell hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Boston pitcher Kelemeneke Balun visibly frustrated.
"I felt good up there," said O'Connell. "I saw the ball well."
The White Walkers, at 54-44, sit in 5th place in the Premier League.
