Shooters Dump Eclipse, 6-3

The Springfield Shooters downed the Northville Eclipse, 6-3, at Springfield Stadium. The Shooters were led by Jorge Rocha, who captured player of the game honors. He went 2-4 with a home run and a double, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Springfield reliever Prosper Azagba picked up the win, upping his record to 2-2. John Seawright absorbed the loss. Springfield has an impressive 30-11 record.
Springfield grabbed the momentum in the bottom of the fifth, when Rocha, who leads the PAA in total bases with 90, hit a 2-run home run. His 8th home run of the season put the Shooters out in front, 4-2.
"It's nice to come out on top today," said Rocha.
