Sixshooters Fall to .500 After Loss to Blimps
The Akron Blimps downed the Westwood Sixshooters, 9-6, at Goodyear Hanger Dome. Alohinani Puanani led the way, going 3-for-5 for Akron. Getting the save was Gypsyamber D'Souza, his 5th. The 'W' lifts Akron's record to 19-17.

Puanani contributed a big hit, a 2-run triple, for Akron in the bottom of the third. With his team trailing 3-2, Puanani took a curveball from Rio Dring and stroked the triple to right. His 1st triple of the season allowed the Blimps to leap in front, 4-3.

"Feels good to get the job done," Puanani said after the game.
