The Olympia Ogres picked up a win at Mercer Island Grounds, knocking off the Mercer Island Screaming Eagles, 8-4. Starting pitcher José Torres was an essential part of his team's success. Mitsuoki Gato was credited with the save for Olympia, his 1st of the season. The Ogres sit in 9th place in the Premier AA with a record of 10-23.

Olympia relied on the bat of Pepe Savinon to get the win. The left fielder ripped a 2-run triple in the top of the fifth inning to put the Ogres ahead, 4-0. For the game, Savinon had 1 double and 1 triple in 4 at-bats.
