Thunder Hawks Win Slugfest, 14-10
Francisco Daulong was instrumental in his team's 14-10 triumph over the Akron Blimps. The shortstop went 2-5 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 for the Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks. Ft. Polk South reliever Sean Kennedy was the winner. His record is now 3-0. The losing pitcher was José Peña. The Thunder Hawks sit in second place in the Premier AA with a record of 20-11.

Ft. Polk South used the timely hitting of Aubrey Miller to seize the win. The first baseman stroked a 2-run single in the top of the sixth inning to put the Thunder Hawks on top, 10-8. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

Daulong told a Ft. Polk South Observer reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
