Smythe Delivers Walk-Off Win for White Walkers
Portland got a terrific performance from pitcher Robert Smalls, but it wasn't enough to beat the Buffalo White Walkers. Buffalo won the Beyond the Wall contest, 3-2. Smalls was the player of the game despite being on the losing side. He threw 8 innings of 2-hit ball. Woodward Haberdash, credited with the win, is now 4-3. He allowed no runs on 3 hits in 2 innings. The 5th-place White Walkers improved to 53-42.

Tom Smythe, who is tied for 7th in the PL in hits with 114, contributed to the Buffalo win with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the tenth. For the game, the center fielder had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 3 RBI.

"I'm glad I could get it done when the game was in the balance," Smythe said in his postgame press conference.
