Multi-HR Day for Miller as Thunder Hawks Overpower Fighting Imps, 8-0

The Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks grabbed a 8-0 win over the Ithaca Fighting Imps at Imps Park. Ft. Polk South first baseman Aubrey Miller went 3 for 4 with 2 home runs, while adding 6 RBI and scoring twice to earn player of the game honors. Mark Brunswick, credited with the win, is now 2-0. He allowed no runs on 2 hits in 4 innings. Today's win puts Ft. Polk South at 16-9, while Ithaca falls to 8-17.
With Ft. Polk South leading 1-0 in the top of the first, Miller hit a fastball from John Fleming for a 3-run home run. It was his 8th home run of the season and put the Thunder Hawks ahead, 4-0.
"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Miller. "And not try to do too much."
