Blimps Beat Eclipse, 10-7

The Akron Blimps knocked off the Northville Eclipse, 10-7, at Old-Timers Park. Dave Hill, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason Akron won. The first baseman was 1 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 4. With the win, Akron goes to 14-10, while the Eclipse fall to 8-16.
The Blimps got a big boost from left fielder León Galiano who had a run-scoring walk in the top of the sixth inning off Eclipse hurler Juan Colón. It was his 2nd walk of the season and put Akron on top, 4-3.
"It feels good to get this one," Galiano told the Akron Times.
