Blimps Beat Eclipse, 6-1

Akron Blimps starter Michael Ramsey kept the Northville Eclipse hitters in check, leading his team to a comfortable 6-1 win. Gypsyamber D'Souza picked up the save, his 4th. With the win, the Blimps improved to 13-10.
It could have been a different outcome for Akron, had it not been for Fernando Negrete, the 26-year old third baseman . Negrete contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the seventh inning to put Akron up, 3-1.
"I thought we played a nice game," Negrete told the Akron Times. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
