Eclipse Drop Another One
The Northville Eclipse got a sterling performance from pitcher Jason Breary, but the Shooters still prevailed, 6-2. Breary was named the player of the game in a losing cause. He threw 6 innings allowing 6 runs. Springfield reliever Vasquo Lousada picked up the win, bumping his record to 2-0. Jason Breary was collared with the loss. Li-chi Lou recorded his 3rd save for Springfield.

In the top of the first, Marcos Calvo jumped on a fastball from Jason Breary and hit a run-scoring triple. It gave Springfield a quick 1-0 lead.

"We've hit a rough patch right now," said Northville skipper Thomas Kemp.

The Shooters keep rolling, raising their record to 12-6.
